We had a warm welcome at tiny little restaurant run by George and Richard's friends Tracey (photo) + Oscar. Kate + Mike don't miss when you come to Singapore. Buko Nero is located in a restored shop house where the shop would be on the ground floor and the upper two levels would be where the shopkeeper and his family would live. There are small pockets of these attached shop houses that are being preserved and they are very quaint. This neighborhood Tangor Pajar has been restored and is full of professional offices, restaurants, bars, and shops. Very quaint in this other wise very modern city. The food was Italian and excellent.
