Beach in front of Del Coronado Hotel

Saturday afternoon we ventured over to Coronado where we had not been in many years.   We found a very tiny but interesting local museum which told about the early days of the Hotel del Coronado which is now over 100 years old.   We walked around the inside of the "Del" and found it little changed and as grand as ever.   As you can see from the palms in the picture we couldn't walk on the beach as it was much too windy.  It was a beautiful day but no one person on the beach!
