This amazing preserve is part of the National Botanical Trust. it is almost at the end of the road where the Kalalau Trail begins into the Na Pali Cliff region. It is the site of a thousand year old settlement, a restored native forest and beautiful views of the ocean. It is bordered by Makana Mtn aka Bali Hai Mtn ( which BTW we see in our daily view from Pali Ke Kua). After 2 days of pouring rain we decided to go to Limahuli. The weather cooperated and we had a lovely while at times misty day.
