Trekking Along the Little Gunpowder Falls, Harford County, Maryland

 Before we left for our downtown hotel we took a wonderful little hike to a small waterfall.  As you can see from the photo,  it is more late winter than early spring but if this lovely 70F weather holds spring will be along very soon.

Concord Pt Lighthouse Havre de Grace Md

"Located on the point where the mighty Susquehanna River meets the Chesapeake."
Al hadn't been to Havre de Grace in years and not sure I was ever there.  It's a very old town right on the river with several marinas and new condos and lots of little shops and a section of old homes.  We had a great lunch at the Tides Inn where Sally and I had Maryland Crab Soup and the guys of course had crab cake sandwiches!

Visit to Sally and David Daneker

It's early spring in Maryland and we took a quick snap shot of Sally and David in their front yard before we headed off for Havre de Grace.

Here We Go Again

After just a few days in Seattle we left on Sat. (3/10) for Baltimore where Al will receive an award for ACCC (The Association of Community Cancer Centers) on 3/14.  The Sunday flights were all booked so we barged in on Sally and David Daneker a day early and despite the fact that they had dinner guests we were most warmly welcomed.   We both so enjoy our time with them and this visit was no exception.
