Cape cod part 2

After Andrea passed we had lovely weather. We visited the quaint OLD town of Chatham and the Chatham Bars Hotel for lunch on the porch overlooking the bay.

We both had lobster rolls! YUMMY!

Late afternoon we stopped at Nauset Beach, a popular Cape destination.

We noted the info on this sign!

Exactly 24 hours after our visit we heard on the news that the beach was cleared as the life guards sighted a 13 to 14' great white shark that probably came in to feed on the seals!!!!

We spent our last day on the cape enjoying the beach right in front of our friends' home. This is on the inside of the Cape.  When the tide is out one can walk for miles on the Brewster Flats.

Many thanks to dear friends Gail and Frank Civille for sharing their wonderful spot on the Cape with us.  It was such a treat to stay in their home and we only wish they were there with us.
