Fish drying racks

Catching and then specially drying it is the big industry the Lofoten Islands. After being gutted and splayed open the fish are dried for months on these large racks.
The heads are then collected by the children and hung on separate special racks again for months. These heads are sold for fish meal by the children. The meal is exported and the children receive some spending money.
