North Cape

We drove across the tundra plateau to the North Cape. It was absolutely beautiful, vast and panoramic. On the way we stopped to visit a Sami summer camp and see a special reindeer. These reindeer are all owned by the Sami and winter on the mainland Lapland area.
The bottom 3 shots are from the actual North Cape viewpoint at the most northern point of Europe and very close to Russia. It was very windy and very beautiful. At this point the Gulf Stream. Meets an Arctic stream from the east. Fishing is very successful and the main livelihood.
