Greetings from the Lofoten Islands

We are now many miles north of the Arctic circle visiting an archipelago known as the Lofoten Islands. We are anchored of the main town of Svolvoer. The islands are connected by a series of modern tunnels and bridges. The main industry is cod fishing. We are amazed by how very beautiful this is. We drove by coach about an hour south first to see the west or the "wild" side of the islands and then the Viking Museum at Borg.
