Arrival Cochine, India
Just arrived here and about to disembark. It took Al a lot of time and much money to get an Indian visa. Just now we were called one by one to the main salon to have our passports inspected (and us as well!) by the Indian officials. The ship holds our passports and in true Seabourn fashion all the paper work had been completed for us so all each of us had to do was sign where the ship's staff showed us before appearing in front of the Indian immigration agent! Can't imagine what it would be like on a ship with 6000 passengers. Off to Vaikom, an Indian village an hour or so away for the day.
