Singapore is an island of over 5.5 million inhabitants. It is trying to grow to 6.5 million. The city area has some of the most extraordinary architecture that we have seen. It is both imaginative and functional often multi-use combining housing, office and retail. Huge shopping malls are all over and shopping is the major past-time. Most residents live in small condos or apartments in high rise buildings. Eating out is a popular pastime.
