We walked
about one-half mile from our hotel to Clarke Quay on the Singapore River. This is a popular night life spot with many
restaurants and entertainment venues.
This night there was a special bandstand area drawing a large crowd to
play what seemed to us to be American favorites from the 80’s and 90’s. We chose a seafood restaurant and had a
seafood platter with soft-shelled crabs, mussels, clams, baked oysters and baby
octopus and more fried rice. It was a
delightful spot where we could sit and watch tour boats filled with many
enjoying the hot, humid evening on the river.

Please don't tell me you ate baby octopus. We sponsor the Octopus tank in Ucluelet. The rest of your dinner sounds amazing.
