Included with our hotel room is complimentary breakfast around the corner from the inn on Killiney Street at the Killiney Kopitiam. This is a VERY popular place which seems to be open almost 24/7. We had the traditional fare including two soft boiled eggs, kopi (aka strong coffee with evaporated or condensed milk) and toast. The toast was white break spread with a thick layer of butter and coconut jam. Since the eggs were very "soft" boiled the next day we asked to for no jam (Margie said too sweet) and tore up the toast to soak up the eggs. Not bad and the price was right. This shop was one of about 10-15 around the corner and one could find just about any local dish served at one of them.
