St Andrews Anglican Cathedral

Our last stop in Singapore is to worship at St. Andrews consecrated in 1938. It was severely struck by lightening, deemed unsafe and deconsecrated by the Bishop of Calcutta in 1862. Today worship occurs in 7 different languages.

    I need to read my history books to learn why a Bishop of Calcutta decided what was the fate of a cathedral in Singapore.
