Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

This huge mosque, even bigger than the one in Oman, has 80 marble domes held up by over 1000 pillars and the World’s largest Persian carpet made by 2000 craftsmen in just two years.   It is all very amazing and quite beautiful.    Inside and out in can accommodate 40,000 worshipers.   As seen in my earlier post women are carefully scrutinized to make sure that they are properly covered and garbed in order to enter.   Like the Grand Mosque in Oman there is separate prayer hall for women to worship.
