Return from Petra

In true Seabourn fashion about 45 minutes south of Petra on our return we stopped at this spot with this spectacular view and were feted with champagne and lovely caviar hors d'oeuvres.

Upon arrival at the ship quite a bit of the crew and officers were waiting on the dock with cold towels, and glasses of fruit juice and a very warm welcome.   Included among the officers was our captain, Hamisch Elliot, the man in the foreground below with his hand on his hip.   Actually he we had encountered him and his wife walking back through the Siq where they too had been sightseeing.
