Some of the "big" Tourist Sights

We saw these spots several years ago and have really enjoyed revisiting in a more relaxed way. Sometimes we just sat and watched the people!
Capitoline Museum

Overlooking the Forum

Victor Emmanuel Monument (not popular with the Romans. They think it looks like a wedding cake!)

Coliseum (scaffolding up for cleaning!)

St Peters...The Vatican

Palaza de Popolo

Piazza Navona

Pantheon... This 2nd century building is amazing! The dome was made of poured concrete and still intact. By design it has a huge opening in the center.

The exterior does not appear as bring in as good condition..but amazing none the less.

No trip to Rome can be complete w/o a stop at the Trevino Fountain. It was packed with tourists but we were able to find a spot to sit and watch the crowds enjoying their visit!
